A panorama answers a question a framed image cannot: what is behind me. For an apartment interior, a lobby or a clubhouse, that is often the deciding question — buyers want to know what the room feels like to stand in, not what it looks like from the one angle the photographer chose.
Panoramas are delivered as equirectangular stills viewed in the browser or on a headset. In the browser they need nothing installed, which matters on a sales floor where a tablet is handed to a visitor who has never seen the project before. On a headset they carry more, and we deliver at the resolution headsets need where that is part of the brief.
Camera height is the detail that gets this wrong most often. A panorama shot from a nominal 1.6 metres reads correctly; one shot from 2.2 metres because it framed better makes every ceiling feel low and every room feel like a doll house. We set eye height honestly and adjust the room instead if something is not working.
Sets are more useful than singles. A show unit understood as a sequence — entry, living, kitchen, bedroom, balcony — with hotspots between them lets someone walk the apartment in the order they would actually walk it. We plan the set as a route.
Because a panorama shows everything, it is unforgiving about unresolved design. Ceilings, service runs, skirtings and the backs of joinery all become visible, and details a framed still would have cropped out have to be decided. We flag these early, since they are usually cheaper to resolve in the model than in review.
Delivery is the panorama files plus a viewer that can be embedded in your own site or run standalone, with hotspot navigation where a set has been produced.
Panoramas also work as a bridge between phases. A show unit captured as a set before the physical unit is fitted out lets sales begin months earlier, and once the real unit exists the same set stays useful for buyers who cannot travel to it. On projects selling across cities or countries that is often the difference between a viewing and no viewing at all.
We produce them alongside stills wherever both are in scope, because the same completed model serves both and splitting the work across two suppliers is how a project ends up with a living room that is two different greys. Where panoramas are the only deliverable we still build to the standard a still would need, since a panorama shows more of the room than any framed image will.
